I discovered your powerhouse of a project one day browsing CDBaby.com when checking out new artist. I was impressed and captivate within secs of a snippet of your first track "Moving Along" ft. Jean Caze and ordered x2 copies and they arrived 9.09.08 and I have been listen with regularity to your self-entitled album. I'm writing because I was on iTunes and Amazon.com simulataneously and came across Joni Mitchell and discovered that Herbie Hancock with various artist re-interpreted choice songs of Joni's to include "River" which was also included on your album. Anyways although I read the inside credits of your cd packaging I had forgotten that your version/interpretation of "River" was a Joni Mitchell original however your delivery and phrasing and creative flow to this beautiful song propelled it further, you made the song your own and "River" is more beautiful for it. I gonna to write to Herbie Hancock and suggest he gets intouch with you because I believe the both of you would make wondermous collaboration(s) together. Finally, I read tonite that your sophmore album is due for release this Summer....can't wait...please give me a specific release date so I can mark my calendar and have my monies ready for purchase and please don't change the release date....smile. Loving your artistry and your creative flow my sista. You are a gift to the world and a true music lovers diamond in the ruff.
Continued blessing and success and I hope that you will touring and performing live in Atlanta, Georgia before the year is out? There are wonderful small, intimate venues here, e.g. Variety Playhouse, The Tabernacle, Woodruff Arts Ctr, Southwest Art Ctr (915 New Hope Rd, ATL,GA). Can't Wait for your second album because I know every song will keep us listening over and over til your third release and on and on...smile.

(dAb... The fourth song I believe was "And If The Rain"... I wrote it, but what I said was that it was Teddy Crockett's favorite song of mine! It's not on the album but was featured on the CD single for "Do It Again" in the U.S... it's now only available on itunes US.. but a live recording of it will be available on itunes Japan shortly.. keep an eye out!)
